Learn Spanish Programs

Congrats on having success in Spanish I and II. A technique that some spanish teachers use in more advanced classes is to teach, only in Spanish. They understand that the student doesn't understand every word, but there is a purpose to it.

For example, I am assuming you are in the US, based on the english dialect that you use. If you went to the UK, you probably wouldn't understand 100% of the words, since they use different words in certain situations, but you could still speak with them and them with you.

When you learn a new language, there is a really difficult step that you need to make in your learning process, that is becoming comfortable, when you don't know every word, and still be able to communicate.

I would suggest that you hang in there. It is a normal technique of learning a language, to attempt to immerse you. It is very good. You will get it, but make sure you try to get the most out of every class. Try to make flash cards that have words you don't know on them, and carry them around with you to practice when you can. You will get it.

Good luck!

Sigue intentandolo y buena suerte. Keep trying and good luck.

Learn Spanish Program

It sounds like you did pretty good your first two years. I'd hang in there. Immersion techniques are by far the best way to learn Spanish. You'll start to remember more and pick up more as the year goes on. It seems difficult, but ultimately I'm sure you'll do great, and in the end you'll retain more as well.

I remember my freshmen year in high school, I walked in to my first Spanish class and right off the bat my teacher was speaking fluent Spanish. It's intimidating, but if I were you I'd hang in there. In the long run it's worth it.
